she/her
Feminist philosopher and queer theorist whose work centers on queer kinship and technologically mediated forms of care.
Shelley Park is a professor of philosophy and cultural studies whose work centers on queer kinship, intimacies, and care. The author of _Mothering Queerly, Queering Motherhood_, one strand of her work centers on non-normative forms of kinship such as those created through adoption, divorce, non-heterosexual and non-monogamous households. Another strand of her work focuses on how technological solutions to the "care crisis" in the global North (re)shape our understandings of, and practices of, intimacy and care. She is currently working on a monograph tentatively titled "Careveillance" that explores how care comes to be understood as surveillance under techno-capitalism.
