Currently, Riikka works on two projects: In her project on young men’s ecological care in climate justice struggles, she engages the concept of “caring masculinities” to look at ecological and Indigenous justice struggles in the Nordics. Her other project, Bodies of Knowledge: Masculinities, Epistemologies, and Domestic Work, aims to make visible affects, emotions and embodiment as marginalized forms of knowing.
