Feminist historian Durba Mitra will give a talk on “Protest as Care” and present during a seminar her manuscript in progress “The Future That Was: Feminist Thought in Decolonizing World”

Please join the Revaluing Care Lab at the FHI for two days of events with the feminist historian Durba Mitra

Focuing on global feminist thought, history of colonial India, and Third World Feminism, Mitra is author of Indian Sex Life: Sexuality and the Colonial Origins of Modern Social Thought.

On October 8, from 3:00 to 4:30 pm, Mitra will give a public talk “Protest as Care”

On October 9, from 4:40 to 7:10pm, Mitra will discuss, over a seminar and a dinner, chapters from her forthcoming book The Future That Was: Feminist Thought in the Decolonizing World
